This read was enlightening and insightful after I learned I was autistic as an adult. It helped me focus on finding a partner that fits my brain rather than trying to make it work with a poor fit.

Looking at the parallel play icon reminds me of the day when I knew that my husband was the one. We were sitting in his apartment, each reading our own book while sharing a bag of candy, and I realized how perfectly happy I was that we could spend time together that way.
Yeah, I definitely need my partner to be OK just existing with me. Especially living with someone. Im at home to decompress and regenerate. Constant need for interaction is super draining.
