So, out of curiosity, could one not just use wine with one of the standard emus?
I managed to do the 9 daily tasks on Blue Archive on Linux. I did the following:
- Download Genymotion Desktop 3.4.0 (its free for personal use)
- Download Genymotion_ARM_Translation version 9.0
- Download Blue Archive APK from APK pure (for some reason, the play store states the app is not compatible with the device, thus resorting to this apk)
After downloading and installing Genymotion, create virtual device and ensure to pick
Android 9.0 (Pie)
, then start the device. After that, drag-and-dropGenymotion-ARM-Translation_for_9.0.zip
into the device. And then, install Google Play Service by clicking the “Open GApps” button. Once that is done, drag-and-drop the Blue Archive APK into the device and run it.Notes:
- I have a NVIDIA GPU
- My distro Fedora Kinoite
I remember doing basically the same process to play FGO on Linux for a while. To add to the gacha element, sometimes the audio pitch (speed?) would be off so I’d relaunch till the game sounded right. 🤣
