“Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father”

“He told me enough. He told me you killed him”

(fill in the next line as you see fit)

So this just brought up a new question in my mind and maybe this ain’t the right place to ask but, if say your mother discovered they were trans, do they become your father or is that completely different from the concept of dead-naming? I’m genuinely just curious, and this isn’t really directed at you GabrielBell12fi but anyone that has the knowledge.

Depends on the person and the context. I know some trans folks who are happy to still have their kids call them mom but would like to be referred to as their father/parent and vice versa in any other context and some who really want to have their kids now call them dad.

I admit I have no experience of this (mostly my question was for fun and frolics so sorry for any offence.)
