I’ll take “carnivores with damaged teeth from chewing steel bones” for 600.
Do they realize how much damage a large carnivore could do? You’d be replacing them at a prodigious rate.
Also there is the whole carrion / rot side of that cycle as well that most of the predators involved try to get at marrow.
