I suppose that he’s entitled to his opinion, but I would personally like to be able to buy third-party content if someone wants to produce solid stuff. I would also like Bethesda to have a financial incentive to support mods effectively.
I don’t think that that is an unreasonable roadblock to someone creating free mods. There is a lot of commercial software out there in the world, and there is a lot of free, open-source software out there, and they coexist.
