@Shortcake I’m obsessed with Mob Psycho 100, but for other comedies…
Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War is hilarious and so is Bocchi the Rock. They’re both more in the slice of life category, but the relationships between characters are front and center in a way that is less slapstick and more personal? I guess. KSLW especially is just…hilarious, even if you’re not in it for the love story.
@avividtale i forgot about bocchi the rock. My wife and kid loved k on so I was waiting for BtR to be dubbed (since that’s the only way they will watch anime)
Kaguya-sama is on the list for my wife and I too!
@Shortcake Kaguya-sama is so worth it.
Spy x Family is another amazing one.
Yeah I’m all caught up on spy x family. Really impressed with the animation. The manga is also fantastic rn
It’s so good.
A little older, but Wagnaria!! really took me by surprise. Genuine LoL in every episode.
I agree Wagnaria/Working!!! is awesome. I would like to add Yuru Yuri and The World God Only Knows
One of my favorites is konosuba!
Similarly, I greatly enjoyed Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, though its a shame this one did not get more seasons, but it does tell a completely story in its 12 episodes.
Agreed! I loved the twist
+1 to mob psycho 100 and another 2 that I usually miss in these lists, Hinamatsuri, and I can’t understand what my husband is saying for those in a mixed relationship, both shorts and easy to watch
Grand Blue is a blast, as well as being pretty accurate with the diving stuff.
If you like silly gag comedies then I can wholeheartedly recommend “The Vampire Dies in no Time” - it has me in tears laughing with every ep.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Wasteful Days of High School Girls, when I need a good laugh it’s my go to.
I randomly discovered it on HIDIVE a while back, but it’s been taken off since then.
I’ll check it out thank you!
Maybe One Punch Man if you haven’t seen it already, same person who created(?) Mob Psycho 100
Up to date on anime and manga! They are both great series
It’s old, but I greatly enjoyed GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka. About a punk teacher that is given a troublesome class that has run out its previous teachers and how he manages them.
I had no idea this was an anime. I have the manga on my list to read
Hinamatsuri and Asobi Asobase are two of my favorite comedies.
