Hosting provider Uberspace has taken down the website of youtube-dl after being held responsible for the website linking to the software on GitHub.

Man they just keep coming for yt-dl, I don’t get why. It’s just a automation tool no?

  Yep which is why this is so ridiculous. Luckily they got money from GitHub for legal defense and looks like the EFF is on it too
