Reminds me of Jurassic Park.
Reminds me of Jurassic Park.
It’s great. Not enough people, though.
It’s worth noting for everyone who might be reading this that blood on your toilet paper is 99.9% of the time from hemorrhoids or wiping too much, not from colon cancer. You’re looking for dark stool and all these other symptoms, not a tiny amount of bright red blood on your toilet paper.
This is great, except in my case, where I have regional insurance that no one takes where I live. Everyone is out of network.
I don’t think I could blame someone for wanting to adopt a baby and not an older foster care kid who has had a lot of problems. People who do that are saints.
When I was in grad school I knew a guy who just simply didn’t teach for half the semester. No contact with students, no classes held, just didn’t show. He gave everyone a passing grade on the midterm and came back halfway through. No explanation. He was not fired. Of course, like the rest of us, he was grossly underpaid and didn’t have health insurance. I guess they get what they get if they’re gonna treat us like cogs, right?
Adopting kids ain’t easy. People always say “you could just adopt” but they don’t realize just how much expense is involved. It could easily cost $50k.
This happened to me. I got a PhD and expected to be able to get a tenure track job in academia. Sure, it’s hard. But it wouldn’t be me that failed at it, right? Wrong. Three years later, no job, scraping by on adjunct work.
I went back to law school. Sometimes you have to redefine your life in a way that gives you new opportunities. Does it still hurt that I couldn’t get my dream job? Yeah, but I have a lot of good I can do for the world in other ways, and I’m not going to let that dream’s death prevent me from doing it.
In the states, a significant bug infestation of any kind is a landlord problem.
You have to completely replace the root of the tooth in a root canal. It’d make more sense just to pull the tooth if you were doing it yourself.
Capitalism has only existed for a couple centuries. Something that new can’t be human nature!
I have a PhD in moral philosophy and I have no idea what’s going on here.
This kind of repeating music in places of business should be illegal. It’s absolute torture for employees and nobody seems to give a shit about it. There are still songs from my time working at Ruby Tuesday that are burned into my brain and send me into a rage to this day.
I mean, men don’t live as long as women. Seems natural to focus on the group who has a bigger problem dying younger.
Been a long time. Once I found out it was all bones and hooves and connective tissue, that kinda took the fun out of it.
It’s a pretty decent film, if a little heavy on the religious message.
What a moron
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m gonna say this was a good call.
Absolutely nothing about this case is a mere reiteration of anything before it.
I’m kind of confused about exactly how this could escalate further, given that there are at least two countries between Iran and Israel. Israel isn’t going to send ground forces into Iran, and vice versa. And I’m doubtful that as bad as Israel is, they would nuke Iran. Where could it go beyond intermittently bombing each other?
