At the very least, there needs to be some serious audits of the power structures of Starfleet and the Federation. So many evil admirals…

To be fair, this comic isn’t just about abortion. It could also apply to things like “modesty” laws in places like Iran.
It doesn’t matter what the ice cream represents. If the argument for a law is wholly religious in nature, then it is unjust.
That, or she should be named “Mary” instead, I guess.
Don’t you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby!
As disappointing as it is to see it end, 5 seasons is a decent run, and I’d rather it end before they “jump the shark” or just fizzle out.
Vulcans.
As a regularly stoic person (maybe on the autism spectrum), I often struggle to show appropriate emotion. Or, at least, it is exhausting.
Having a conversation with a Vulcan would be a breath of fresh air.
Holy crap, look at the old cell phone in the dirt, bottom middle.
I’m here to collect.
Exactly.
This whole discussion feels like nobody watched ENT.
The Federation exists because Archer was such a fantastic mediator. Add in his rapport with T’Pol and Shran, and his willingness to die in the place of a Tellarite ambassador, and it’s little wonder he was able to knit the beginnings of this alliance together.
I really got an Archer vibe from Pike in “Spock Amok” (SNW S01E05), when he dealt with the R’ongovians.
Yeah, that’s pretty true.
Sounds like a Rick and Morty alien species.
Maybe this is the larva of the Cerritos Warp Moth, named after the ship which discovered it.
To be fair to Worf, Riker also adopted a kid (“Jean Luc”, the alien with the psychic holodeck powers), and promptly forgot about him forever.
It’s a candle, but I suppose if you’re real determined…
I’ve heard good things. I might need to give it another shot. I was unaware Cordero was in it.
I bounced off it after an episode or two. I struggle with that sort of awkward humor, where someone hiding the truth makes things worse (which is the vibe I got from the bit I did watch, but it’s been a while).
That said, I’ve seen a lot of clips of later episodes, and the show is definitely funny. (The Time Knife and Jeremy Bearimy are hilarious.)
Lower Decks was the first time I’d encountered Cordero. Then I watched Loki and immediately recognized his voice. Hope to see/hear more of him; he’s great.
Also, fake other parts since Picard S1.
Yeah… Red background, white circle, black symbol.
I would not fly this flag, if only to avoid confusion with another, infamous flag.
I get the hate for those movies, but I honestly enjoyed them all.
They are what got me to watch TOS, finally. Then I did a full watch through of the series. They were great for revitalizing the fan base and making new fans.
I honestly love having the movies as a different universe/timeline. Saves us from tone whiplash, like Shakespeare TNG Picard vs Rambo Movie Picard.
