Is that the Chad of the plane world?
A geologist and archaeologist by training, a nerd by inclination - books, films, fossils, comics, rocks, games, folklore, and, generally, the rum and uncanny… Let’s have it!

Nobody got hurt and it’s healthier for her than her previous excursion into extreme corsetry, so… each to their own.
I’d give it a few months, you don’t want to get between a woman and a plane.
She has been in the news before for this - announcing her wedding plans back in 2019 and featured in S02 E01 of the TV series Extreme Love (which I saw when it was broadcast). Then back in 2013 she got a headlines for shrinking her waist to 16 inches, which did the rounds amongst corsetry enthusiasts.
So she’s real and this is a thing (like Eija-Riitta Berliner-Mauer who married the Berlin Wall), but whether she is an attention-seeker or a troubled soul trying to find her place in the world is another thing entirely.
From thst list, I’d recommend The Ritual, Kill List and The Witch next.

Vague connections to She (1965), nothing to do with She (1984).
Yeah, I can’t see me watching that extended cut any time soon, I might have to leave rewatching the film for a while, a long while.
Not a sequel to Her.
I think that’s an orangey mauve isn’t it?
In the standard web interface it’s an ! in a diamond.
Yeah, my home Instance doesn’t allow NSFW material so I could neither create such a post myself or even view it without logging into another account (not ideal for a moderator).
Best bet is just putting [SPOILER] in the headline (without any spoilers images) and/or use spoiler tags appropriately in the text depending on what the OP wants to post about.
I don’t think you can do that in Lemmy.

It was something we decided was for the best as some kind be clickbaity but they are also a good way of sparking discussion (especially as everyone here can come up with better), so this approach gives us the best of both worlds.

I could definitely get behind that suggestion - it’s definitely underrated while Midsommar is overrated.
Going by the report and the comments, there are usually too few employees to man the store and the security cameras are fake, obviously so because they sell the same ones. Given the level of neglect and violence, a bit of piss in some candles is the least of their worries.
The Brutalist is still getting good word of mouth but there looks to be a tonne of intriguing new releases in the pipeline too - April sounds like my cup of tea and both Saturday Night and Presence are easy sells to me, however, I am surprised that a film about the death of the Pope looks to be a must-see and may be an Oscar front-runner, but I’m up for it.
It’s difficult to know the criteria they’ve ordered it in but $840k box office fails to meet the “millions” specification of the title.
With some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
