FYI the arms being at the same height as the desk is exactly what you want for a good posture ergonomic computer using position.

Wasn’t that Quake, not DOOM?
Probably why Paradox wanted a slice of the action!
I was quite interested on that and downloaded it on Game Pass, but never found time to try it. It seems that game caused them to part ways with Harebrained Schemes, which is a shame. I enjoyed Battletech that was the same sort of turn based combat thing.
Well that tracks as Eli Roth has never made a good film.
Do you have some factual evidence to refute it?
By Gods, that is an official document from what is supposed to be an oversight committee? It reads like a biased propaganda sheet with no references and spelling mistakes everywhere.
I see it says 8 million “migrant encounters” yet there is no source for that figure stated (only numerous other reports from the same committee). Is it 8 million different people? Did they all come in this year? Who is reporting the figure?
Also I’d like to know the definition of a “migrant encounter”. That doesn’t even state they are illegal migrants, or that there was anything illegal about the encounter. Who are they encountering?
Fact check: what are the numbers on “ridiculously high levels”?
Which game are you thinking about with X:COM? I did see Millennia, but either it was marketed badly, or I just managed to miss the hype machine pre-release. It just seemed to suddenly spring up with swathes of middling reviews.
I’m kind of a casual Paradox fan, but don’t really stray from their PDS releases usually.
Part of me thinks this decision was down to the fact The Sims is still going strong. Paradox spun up Cities: Skylines and had success due mainly to SimCity imploding itself.
They were perhaps not looking to compete and gambling on EA ruining one of their own franchises again, in order to fill the niche in the market.
Despite the article talking about crashes, that outfit from Threads really makes me want to play!
Good job there aren’t any bunnyhopping Martians to shoot with it.
I like that the headline sounds like there was just a $1mil pile of loose cocaine somewhere that got blown away by the hurricane.
You, like most people in this thread, are confusing support for a person with support for a form of punishment which is humanitarian and rehabilitative, rather than vengeful and punitive.
Is it? What do you read into that?
That’s a very interesting piece of information actually, I didn’t see that anywhere else. Implies they didn’t agree with the UK verdict in the first place.
I get your point, but a convicted criminal who is rehabilitated could also be considered a good role model. Not saying he is, but not really a means to disqualify him.
Well on that same vein, the IOC unilaterally disqualifying a country’s chosen athlete is likely to be even more politically problematic.
I also saw those statements on his wiki. Also saw some about it being “the worst mistake of his life”. I don’t imagine he would get parole without showing remorse.
My cheap home office chair has adjustable arms and a gas lift, either of those work if you really need to tuck it right under.
