Edit: I finally get it! This must have been what Rage Against the Machine meant when they said, “Can’t waste the day when the night brings a Hurst.” Still not sure how, “Rollin’ down Rodeo with a shotgun,” fits in this pro corpo anthem but maybe I’m just not a hard enough worker to get it. Bad tradeoff indeed.

Its also free to not play XDefiant. I’ve been not playing XDefiant since the beta. It’s been fun not watching this game turn out to be whatever the fuck it is now.

It wasn’t the InfinateSolutions’ battery video, I hope. And if you haven’t seen it, it’s a must watch classic about batteries.

Even Nintendo did it with a Zelda and another time for Metroid. I dont specifically remamber which ones tho. Players would get soft locked out of progression and you could send it in and they’d fix it. That was many moons ago tho. No way they’d put that much effort into anything these days.

Remember that one friend you had who’s parents would let them play DOOM so your group of friends would all go over to their house and take turns being exposed to all the blood and violence a kid could ever hope for? That was me. I was that kid with the young cool parents.

Shit, I remember when our public library got some fancy new computers with an internet connection which was super high tech at the time. Two of my buddies and I rode our bikes down there and we couldn’t believe how cool this new thing called a “chatroom” was. Like… there were other people on there just talking to each other, long distance, mind you, and FOR FREE?!?!?!
