If you just send enough runs you’ll get some broken stuff
Great article. These so-called Climate Havens are in for a rough time in the years to come. People in coastal communities that regularly get hit by hazards have a bit of a built-in resilience because most of the community has been through a disaster before. But there are lots of communities that the threatened area has expanded into and not only are there people not ready for a hazard like this, they don’t even expect it.
Good point, I hadn’t thought of those.
Buffing your move speed and attack speed surely makes it easier to fight while not getting caught by the rock attacks. Perhaps you would also look into damage resistance actions like Iron Stomach or the stasis from the Hourglass?
Ought to be an easier way to deal with cave spinner webs. I wish wands would go through them, or at least break them like thrown weapons do.
“Grok” is from a book called Stranger in a Strange Land. It’s… interesting but not my favorite. You might read it though if for no other reason than to understand the word haha
The sickles, and the other inaccurate weapons are so frustrating for me. Kudos and congrats on the W :)
Oh true, I hadn’t thought of telekenetic grab. I only ever think of it as a tool for plucking back thrown weapons.
Certainly not before floor 11. On my best attempt with the Battlemage I was able to use an hourglass to cover the time I needed to swap to a sword when I wasn’t getting hits with the staff. Should’ve won that run too but I underestimated my own shrapnel bombs hehe
Thanks for the write-up!
I just saw on the fandom wiki that melee attacks that do 0 damage don’t recharge the wands. I’ve been augmenting the staff for speed a lot thinking that it would be good to proc enchantments and the staff effects, but maybe that was misguided because too many of my attacks are being blocked or reduced to 0 damage?
Respect the Crab 🦀
Not sure what’s going on and I’m scared to ask
This game just keeps on giving
I’m new here… what’s a golden lotus?
I know it’s a meme but can somebody set me straight? I swear I read somewhere that this narrative started with the research community saying, essentially, “we know a number of ways in which they might have achieved this feat but we aren’t sure which one they used,” but the entertainment/conspiracy communities heard “there is no explanation for how these people were able to achieve this feat.”
Forget the bills, why does she clarify no real kids?
I don’t think it works the same for Artifacts at all. If it did, getting a +10 Greaves of Nature via Transmuting a Master Thief’s Armband or something would be way better than getting it by feeding seeds to the Sandals of Nature.
Edit: I’m wrong. I wonder if it’s only the Alchemist’s Toolkit or Dried Rose that screw it up.
