  • So, as I understand it based on other systems I’ve used/worked on that had a few similar feature sets, ActivityPub will effectively send out events of “things”. What that is depends on whoever is telling ActivityPub about it. So, the data for a mastadon post (what are these called?) Would likely be pretty different to the data shape of a post on Lemmy. Not specifically the same, but I don’t think there’s anything stopping somebody from developing a server that can handle multiple types of content. Kbin has a similar thing between threads and microblogging. Two content types supported there.

  • Overall it’s really just super comfy. The wrist rest is fantastic for sitting at a desk for hours. The index finger on the ball was a bit hard to get used to but after a few days my finger looked like Mr. Incredible’s chest though.

The software to customize the buttons is really nice too. Cross platform, so it was trivial to setup custom stuff for my work MacBook and my PC separately (same workstation, but I’ve got a dock that switches all my devices between the two)

I may go pick up an ergo now though. I’ve been running this one for a few years now so it’s time to waste money on more peripherals I guess!

  • Late 30s here. I was diagnosed as a kid, on meds for a couple months before my parents didn’t like the emotion nullifying effects it had on me. Proceed to forget entirely about it until Covid hit.

So, mine (as an adult) was virtual and I was (am) incredibly stressed so my symptoms were through the roof. In a single hour session I had my diagnosis and a prescription. It was mostly the doc asking me questions. No formal test or anything like that, but this guy’s specializes in it - so I think my experience might be a bit different than the norm.
