“Blaming the economy won’t cut it.”
blames the economy
I always dissolve into laughter at the ‘going into town for supplies’ scene. It’s just perfect.
Look, it’s a fascist influencer!
That’s awesome! Glad you found yourself. Not everyone does.
Strange Days is a classic?
I thought of it as a bit too clunky in its execution. But I’ll admit Juliette Lewis has always been a distractingly terrible actor in my eyes. And she can’t sing either.
I will admit it’s good enough to deserve a better reception than it’s theatrical release though.
I would never trust anything Kennedy said.
And he’s probably disgruntled about it.
My Roomba only turns on when I press the button. Granted it can have wifi access but I work from home and never set that up. All it can do is translate error codes and I can Google those.
It’s my fourth Roomba in 20 years. Not bad as I’m someone who never vacuums otherwise.
Definitely, my situation would not be normal in Minneapolis, where I was born and grew up. There it was a little more chaotic, longer lines, but still not terrible.
Minnesota hasn’t been one of those states desperately trying to keep people from voting, thankfully.
And we are trying to keep it that way.
We don’t have these issues here in Minnesota. Plenty of polling places, short lines.

And they were there because the energy use of the MRI made them suspect it was a pot farm… in a legal state.
That deserves its own sequel.

He was an asshole too. But it is easier to forget running water without the audible cue.
I lived with a deaf man for a few months and one thing I noticed is he would often forget to turn off the water in the kitchen.
He didn’t watch TV at all and was not at all respectful when someone was watching or listening to something. Just constant interruptions.
This is, as others have said, a love languages thing.
Mine is acts of service. When I overstep for my wife and do things for her when she’s asking for an ear, she now understands what I’m doing and why and redirects me to actually listen.
That, and she enjoys all the cooking and cleaning I do so that she can relax when she gets home.
We almost never fight now as a result of this and it’s almost always a “This is what I need from you” kind of talk that we can both appreciate and respond to rather than just a screaming match.
Ask your wife for help in feeding her coworkers from time to time. That might work better. Tell her that you’re concerned for them.
Should make you happy.
