The issue is, it is already apocalyptic. It’s genocide, the extermination of a population. It’s going to be worse for Americans (and the world in general) if Trump is elected, but what if that world watched your family and friends die horribly, or helped kill them? As a Canadian I sure hope people can choke down the bile and keep fascism out of the white house, but we shouldn’t act like there aren’t groups of people who might think we all deserve whatever we get, regardless of it affecting them as well.

An important detail is that advanced western weapons are restricted to operations near our within the recognized borders if Ukraine. The arsenals, refineries, factories, and other strategic targets inside actual Russian territory have been hit with Ukrainian weapons. Most are relatively low payload drones, with some targets being serviced by Neptune land attack variants, which is definitely more advanced than anything in the Iranian arsenal for example. But I think the point stands that relatively cheap and simple systems have provided outsized results in the Ukrainian conflict.

The reason there are warning signs for Israel is because of the sheer economy of drone bombing. When Iran launched over a hundred drones, and only three hit, the media had a chuckle. I’m sure the IDF and the American planners supporting them looked very nervously at the estimated 2.4 billion USD worth of ordinance deployed during the defence. Why do you think Ukraine and Russia are building cheap drones to kill other cheap drones. It’ll be interesting to watch.

It will be interesting to see if Israel has a similar experience to Russia. They attacked with a massive advantage and were able to carry out operations with the home front secure, for awhile. Now Ukraine has developed a robust strategic strike capability that is causing serious military and economic damage. Israel may face a similar situation, even with the US willing to participate directly on their behalf.

Don’t worry though, American forces will be on the ground with patriot batteries to support the genocide, we just have to say this for the annoying anti-genocide people.

My read on what he and others were concerned about was that DA Origins introduced an aesthetic of low fantasy, dark and medieval themes. Many felt, including him, that the new characters felt like very generic MOBA-style designs that didn’t feel particularly at home in the DA world they hoped to see. As others mentioned, this isn’t America. Also, fraudulent calls to emergency services is a criminal offense, people who do this are usually charged and fined, or even given jail time. It’s not like it’s accepted or mainstream behavior, people just do stupid things and when combined with stupid cops it has led to tragic outcomes. In this video they seem to show up, which they HAVE to do, place the occupant in precautionary detainment, verify there is no crime underway, and release him. They would probably then take a statement, then the next thing would be to get a warrant for the call records and charge the dipshit that started the incident.

Basically the story is that the CEO of the company that built it, before the investigation has been done, blames the crew. It couldn’t have been a structural or design failure, again, according to the CEO of the builder. This is an interesting case, maybe it will be on What’s Going on With Shipping one of these days.

It’s difficult to defend the idea that Biden has been trying to end the genocide. He’s had that power from day 1. If you give Israel a bullet, you have solid awareness that there is a good chance it will be used against a non-combatant. That’s hard reality. If Biden was not supportive of genocide he would place an embargo on the weapons being poured into the massacre. He also wouldn’t sanction the ICC when they attempted to call out the primary actors in the genocide. He has given enabling support to the campaign in multiple ways.

Biden is not a good man as he is portrayed, he is complex obviously, but the reality is that Hitler still petted his dog and was nice to his friends and family. Biden should be joining Netanyahu at the Hague, not sabotaging democracy by being virtually un-electable while at the same time working to make it even more obvious that the international order is only there to punish certain war criminals.

It’s an odd post, but I have to admit I had the same fascination. I remember finding out that she exists when the YT video I was listening to ended and, before I got my phone out of my pocket, it had auto played some girl introducing the story of a LARP theme park I had never heard of. An hour later I was heavily informed about the tale of Evermore despite giving no shits about theme parks.

I listened to a couple more of her essays on topics I have no inherent interest in, then took a closer look at her channel. I thought, I’ll add her to my Patreon list for awhile, I’ve gotten several hours of entertainment. Queue the holy shit when I ran the numbers.

They’re not really silent, they are threatening sanctions against the ICC, have come out strongly against the request for warrants, have clarified that killing Gazan civilians cannot be equated to killing Israeli civilians, and are considering inviting Netanyahu to speak to Congress in defiance of the rule of law. I suppose that’s silence maybe?
