I understand where you’re coming from, but again, I’m trying to sell this quickly through Facebook marketplace or the like. I don’t think I’m gonna have a wide audience for people looking for a Linux based laptop that are local and offering cash.

Thanks
I don’t think many people in that market are looking for a 5 year old Dell XPS. It’s still a good system, but I feel like most people that savvy might be looking for something a bit more modern.
I didn’t know about this feature. Looks like I should be able to do this with the Dell UEFI secure erase. Now to get a USB-A to USB-C adapter since that’s all the laptop has so I can reinstall the OS after.
I didn’t realize that’s how it worked nowadays. Thanks for the info.
Yeah I can install Linux on it, but considering this is a second hand market I’m not sure it would be super easy to sell that way ya know? I just really need money ATM. When I’m employed, I work in cyber security so I’m just paranoid about anything being recovered lol. Maybe I’m putting too much thought into it.
I’ve used SailPoint at two different jobs. It’s got its issues. But it’s also a really powerful system for enterprise level identity and access management when configured correctly.
There’s a comment in this thread with a ubo custom filter that’s working for me.
This worked for me. Thanks!
Mine are getting trapped by pihole. They take 10 seconds to time out and just show a banner ad that won’t automatically go away without hitting the skip button. It’s really frustrating since I liked letting videos auto play as I fall asleep.
I was a transparent purple homie. Ended up having to write my name on it because all my friends were too and we didn’t wanna accidentally switch them up. One of the group was notorious for not taking care of his shit and I didn’t wanna end up swapping with him on accident and getting a janky boi
Crowd strike is an antivirus program that is installed on servers and laptops/desktops. The update corrupted a file that caused the operating system not to boot. The impact is thousands of hours of manual labor to recover these servers and endpoints. You have to do it in person unless your user is tech savvy enough to get into safe mode and delete a file. And you need admin rights
I honestly had never heard of this. This is fucked up and I’m pissed off now. Fuck people in this country that believe in segregation.
Gotta make life harder for homeless people
The only reason I don’t use Linux all the time are video games - which are getting better, and streaming because DRM doesn’t support it and I can tell the difference between 720p and 4k. Otherwise it’s my main OS.
To be fair, any drug of abuse potential will usually trigger SAMSHA links in the US by law. That might have been what you saw, and it’s been that way for at least a decade.
Yeah it sat in my wallet for a long time and wasn’t really gaining any value. I didn’t have a need for the trade route anymore cuz I just used it once for some exotic spices that I didn’t really care for. Mining wasn’t an option for me because I didn’t have a powerful computer as a broke college kid. So I just kinda checked out.
Still sucks to think about how I could have ended up with a great return, but hindsight is 20/20 and all that.
I forgot about Bitcoin when it was still mostly worthless. I got rid of my old laptop when it had a ton of issues. I had around 8 btc left in a wallet after spending several hundred on um… An ancient trade route lol.

Confirming someone is a patient without consent is a violation.
Edit: but the mom did open the door I suppose so maybe not.
