  • I think you can’t generally say if it’s better than a PC since it very much depends on your use case (How much do you travel? How much time do you have to sit down in front of a desktop PC? Do you need to be able to quickly interrupt your gameplay?). The performance is pretty surprising at times. For example I can play Diablo 4 at medium settings with FSR Performance at almost 60 FPS. Genshin Impact can be played on medium settings with 60 FPS (from what I have seen in videos). Most Indie games run at 60 FPS no problem. I don’t play much on the Steam Deck since I have a pretty powerful PC and have plenty of time to sit in front of it and don’t travel much. I mainly bought it to support Valve in their endeavour to support Linux gaming and in case I have to rarely travel somewhere or when I want to play in my garden.
