That’s why if a fine does not exceed the benefit the company gained from it, it’s not a deterrent but a cost of business.
People suck. Unfortunately I find I’m constantly having to cater to other people’s feelings but when something upsets me, I’m still somehow in the wrong.
Reddit only started hosting images and videos a couple years ago. That alone would massively add to costs. It’s self inflicted and seems it was planned in an effort to keep people on the platform instead of linking to imgur to view the picture.
