Also the country that still predominantly runs on coal for its power grid… one would think they have bigger fish to fry. EVs are a net positive after about 40’000km compared to ICE Cars. (Even faster depending on the source of charging)

Passkeys should display a QR Code for you to scan with a trusted device if you try to use them on a device that doesn’t have your passkey stored.
Read something about 1’809 in an article lately:

You buy some fruits (or grow them in the garden) and ferment them… how is that more involved than growing a canabis plant and dry it?
The bigger issue is that the US still alows Blinkers to be the same color as break lights. Just weird to me.
I think it’s even worse: If I’m curios and buy a ticket yet absolutely hate the film after seeing it, i still paid a ticket. So Ticket sales are absolutely unrelated to the quality of the movie.
I also just started to realize how out of touch most critics are with regular viewers (or me at least). Some films on IMDB have horrible critics reviews yet the user reviews are almost always higher or even quite decent.
If you don’t do anythithing very specific, iWork is just fine to and has been free for the last 11 Years. And most people probably don’t use Adobe’s Creative Suite (that’s paid on Windows just the same anyway)
Hypothesis not Theory
Dumb question: Aren’t mechanical keyboards inherently loud after? Always what kept me From buying one :-/
I read this same sentiment two days ago; Google doesn’t work for me.
Not sure what they are on about. I can find things I‘m looking for on Google in under a Minute 9 out of 10 times and I tend to use it quite heavily tbh…
I‘d highly recommend the follwoing book:
The Better Angels of our Nature by Steven Pinker https://books.apple.com/ch/book/the-better-angels-of-our-nature/id457552067?l=en-GB
While it might seem that the world is getting worse and worse, it’s actually quite the opposite. We have less war deaths than any centuries before, social justice is on the rise almost everywhere, poverty is at an all time low. For the last 50 or so years, almost every metric of human wellbeing increased, some significantly.
Doesn’t mean there aren’t any problems and we still have a lot of work to layed out for us. But to say that the world is getting worse and worse is just factually incorrect.
It’s just no longerna pandemic, it got endemic and is now more or less like the flu in terms of death rate and infections and it would be lower if we wouldn’t still have morons refusing any vaccine cause they think cellphone towers will then spy on them -.-
And the 1 century death cult is better in what way exactly? Just wanna remind you that those modesty rules where prevalent in Christianity as well as. Maybe not always to the same degree but the church had very interesting thoughts about woman wearing pants or showing their ankles.
If you are religious, no matter the denomination, you‘d better not be poking fun at other religions for their quirks. Yours is just as silly and baseless as the others.
Also, not all muslims follow those strict rules just as very few christians would still shun you for eating shrimp or living with someone before marriage.
It does. And also just plain old bribing. I work for a big Tech Company, and while I‘m only a Retail employee, I have been offered quite some money throughout the years to share my logins (which honestly wouldn’t get you very far). People with more acces than me (Managment or Support employees) apparently received offers in upper 5 Digit territories. If you ask enough people, I‘m not 100% confident that all would say no to that. But to be fair, there’s a lot of hurdles now in between those things with acces being restricted to internal networks, multi factor and trusted device policies a real crackdown on who has access to what. Passwords allone don’t get you very far anymore.
I guess he means a drop of spot? Not a parking space but a space where you can drive to and let people hop out of your car, saying bye with a kiss?
I mean to be fair you could just show the Screenshot and then link the image to the tweet (or whatever it is called now…). Best of both worlds (but more work)
I mean eating onnions and then sipping on a coke isn’t exactly the same as an onnion INFUSED coke :-/
Wow… That’s incredible. What does it matter in that instance if you touch someone „inappropriately“ whatever that even means in this circumstance… I kinda get that in the ridiculous US juristictions where someone could sue you for trying to help you (change that already ffs…)
Imagine having to talk to the family/friends of someone you found on the street:
„Hey I‘m so sorry your friend/wife/girlfirend/mom/daughter died. But at least I didn’t touched her breasts and no one hndressed her for the defibrillator!“
WTF! I‘m incredibly conscious of my body (trying to lose weight currently) but if helping me survive means getting me but naked on Times Square, fucking go for it -.-”
For AirTags, those notifications should only start if:
For Teachers this shouldn’t be an issue unless their students have tecb challenged parent. AirTags arent meant for tracking kids. If it’s their AirTag, they are with them and the alarm won’t trigger. If they have a shared AirTag (possible since iOS 17) they are with theyr own AirTag and the alarm won’t trigger. If they got one that is ONLY registered to their parents, then it will trigger the Anti Stalking feature and those parents should be educated on their problematic use of an AirTag.
Those kids should have an Apple Watch, all the tracking options for parents, none of the hassle of stalking alerts. Or they now just use a shared AirTag which they would then also need to have an Apple ID enabled device with them. So the watch is usually the more afordable and versatile option.
