vr enjoyer and occasional gamedev living in ohio, usa who uses arch btw
I still find it funny that Steve Ballmer called Linux communism lmao
VRChat femboys be like
the overwhelmingly large majority of people want to use
you state this as fact yet my experience has been that people hate using windows for its UI on handhelds and only tolerate it because everything’s made for it. that’s not a shining point for windows, quite the opposite.
the steam deck surpassed a million devices sold - so while over 50% of people probably still want windows, i wouldn’t say its an “overwhelming” majority. tons of people clearly like valve’s take on linux even despite its limitations
For now
as someone who sees both .world and hexbear users in this thread its kinda funny seeing how stark a difference the reaction to the meme is
To be fair, the only reason Godot can’t port to consoles as easily as Unity is for licensing reasons. Console manufacturers don’t want their console build code released as open-source under MIT like Godot is, so that’s all relegated to third-party services/plugins
Fair enough, also I meant TPM and security as a good thing if that wasn’t clear (you might’ve known that tho, i suck at reading tone via text.)
social constructs aren’t totally fake, they’re made “real” by social reinforcement. for example, in the 1940/50s it was expected of women that they were “weak”, and many who went out of line (by speaking up to their husbands, protesting, etc) were punished by being beaten or worse. the feminist and trans rights movements seek to eliminate the old roles and stereotypes assigned to gender to get rid of the real-world retaliation towards those deemed inferior. in contrast, those who seek to reinforce the old ways continue these systems of abuse.
7 downvotes but I don’t get where you’re wrong. Maybe the fact that Windows 11 requires TPM and some other security features? But the rest of the OS pretty much went down in terms of quality.
Huh. Yeah I’m not getting them either, and after looking into my other feeds that do have images it looks like those are either video preview images or links to articles, so I guess it doesn’t support native reddit image uploads maybe?
i fuck with this
I’m not real sure what the issue is but I can confirm that’s the same URL format that I use. I use Feeder on Android if that helps
I moved the Reddit content I wanted into an RSS feed by putting the subreddit URL followed by /.rss into the feed URL and it works
When I was looking to start learning game dev last year, the Unity CEO made the controversial remarks he did like a week into my journey and gave me a reason to switch lol
I think a boost is referring to the Mastodon kind, so basically a retweet
it’s ridiculous how easy it is to use now once you get the basics down. im a bad artist in general, so i mostly use it for editing existing models, but i can also whip up a simple prototyping model pretty quick too. awesome stuff
Wouldn’t be a proper week without a leak on a War Thunder forum
Do you know what goes on behind the scenes?
