Hello! I am Jao, also known as Jaoheah.
I am a Linux User, I am currently using Garuda Linux.
I am running an Arch based distro called Garuda, and it’s been perfectly fine for me.
I don’t like Chromium, on mobile it has extension support.
3 TB. The 1TB nvme ssd my HP Omen 17-ck1000 came with, not sure which brand/model it is. And the 2tb Samsung 990 pro nvme ssd I put in it. Considering the fact most AAA games are now ~100+ GB each, I can only have like 30 games installed at a time, assuming I delete the OS and all of my files. And I use my laptop for more than gaming, so I can probably only have like 14 games max. Thankfully most games have some sort of cloud saves, so I can uninstall the games that I haven’t played in a while do make room. And I also dont acually play AAA games that much. For example the recent game I have been playing, Disfigure, is only is less than a GB.
Only $100? Thats too little IMO.
Why non-systemd distros? I have heard of not-systemd distros like Artix and Devaun (I think that’s how you spell them), but I never bothered looking into why some people prefer them.
Tvan not follow rules. Jao + Not-Jao-or-Tvan angry.

Unlike iOS pretty much every part of the Android OS is replaceable. There is technically no “unified” version of Android, each Android phone manufacturer has their own unique spin on it, and since its open source, or at least most of it is, anyone can make their own version. For example: Lineage OS, /e/OS, and Graphene OS.
lemmy.world got too big IMO. So I ended up switching to a different instance. If all the users were to evenly distribute themselves across many instances, and not just have everyone on like 1-3 different instances, I think that the issues with unavailability, lag, and whatnot would happen much less.
I purchased a 128 GB flash drive for around 12-15$ (I forgot the exact price) last year, and on Amazon, there are 10 TB hard drives for $100. So, the actual storage doesn’t seem to be an issue.
RAM is expensive 128 GB of RAM on Amazon is $500.
But then again, I am talking about the consumer grade stuff. It might be different for the people who are making AI’s as they might be using the industrial/whatever it’s called grade stuff.
