FR. Five Guys is the greasiest, most expensive burger joint in my area. A fucking double double is only $4.79, while a REGULAR HAMBURGER from Five Guys is $11. No combo; just the hamburger.
The fuck they are. They’re like the same size as a McDonald’s burger.I heard for years about how they were better than In-n-Out, and maybe they used to be good, or are better on the East Coast, but since they’ve come to California and I could directly compare the two, Five Guys is just awful.
I don’t know where you get that they use 2oz patties; they use 1/4 pound patties like most burger joints, which is listed clearly on the menu. Which is about 4 ounces.
In n out patties are absolutely not quarter pound patties. And most fast food places don’t use quarter pound patties. That’s why the quarter pounder at McDonald’s is different from a cheeseburger.
Quadruple price and grease in n out never feels worth.

They’re not really comparable. Five guys patties are nearly double the size

Wtf? In n out uses 2oz patties. 5 guys is 3.5. Like, that’s just facts. So not sure what your point is
