Never quite saw him saying that, but I guess a broken clock is right at some point. Woke has become the broadest, lamest statement that seems to have very little meaning other than thinking something is progressive.

Basically, woke means nothing now.

Don’t get too excited for a sudden change in Trump. He’s only saying this to piss Ron off

It was only in 2017 that the word “woke” was aded to the Oxford English Dictionary, and was defined as “being ‘aware’ or ‘well-informed’ in a political or cultural sense”.

Trump doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about because he is NOT ‘well-informed’

“Woke” is just the term they use now instead of “SJW” and “Political Correctness”

Oh, and “Common Decency”. It’s basically a replacement for Common Decency and Human Dignity.

It’s like one day we woke up and “SJW” was erased from the dictionary and replaced with “woke”.

I assume it’s a rebrand, but it’s a weird one. SJW was a weird insult because it just says “you fight for social justice and that’s… bad somehow?” but woke is even weirder, especially when the same people call people sheeple and tell them to wake up.

It does have one meaning, which is “the others”. It’s the old fascist principle of us vs. them. But rather than arbitrarily drawing the line at nation borders, religion, genetics etc., they’ve chosen a new frontier against progressive ideas.

I imagine, it has gained popularity, because with the advent of the internet, we’ve started generating more progressive ideas at a staggering rate. And for those who can’t keep up with that, it’s attractive to proclaim all of that stupid, because actually considering it and re-evaluating one’s beliefs, that takes effort.
