I do like that Chris Pine has the insight to say that Trek movies should cost less to make and should be a little more fan-oriented instead of chasing the action crowd. I feel like that’s actually pretty close to what the D&D movie ended up being, maybe he has a knack for staring in those sorts of things.

I think there’s still hope. At least, that’s my take on this article, even though it has some doom-laden words about the ongoing search for a director, etc.
