Mine was Spirited Away. It captured my little heart
Death Note. Great anime and manga.
Ooo I haven’t read the manga. Anime was a riot. The manga holds up?
I read it this past year and the manga ending was more satisfying than the anime.
Wow, knowing that I might have to push it up on my reading list.
Checks list.
159 series not started. Yeah I think I have some wiggle room.
Discounting DBZ and Pokemon, probably Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.
My fondest member is Redline. Absolute maddness

Sailor moon in 199x via tv guide
Bleach. Still one of my favorites. The anime is… not great. But the manga is GOATed imo.
Me: well how many volumes does Bleach have then.
Me: searches Manga-UpdatesViz (74 Vols - Complete)
Me:
I think mine would have been something like dragonball in the early 90’s but I was probably too young to know what i was looking at. and of course all the morning TV cartoons before school like pokemon and dragonball z, cardcaptor sakura, sailor moon and all of that stuff.
The first proper anime I watched would probably have been Evangelion as an edgy tween.

I liked Kiki’s delivery service. It came on tv once but our speakers were broken, thankfully I have recently watched it and was able to explain everything that was going on.

they got very confused when he was hanging on the blimp and she was using a shitty broom to fly. I was all like, “don’t worry about it”
The first anime I ever watched was Pokemon, but I don’t really count that, as I had never even heard of the word “anime” back then. My actual first was Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. It’s still one of my favourites to this day.
