I’m thinking this community could be successful as on Reddit. Waiting to see what the reaction/feedback might be from members, so feel free to leave comments.
Mods at r/Fauxbait (see also https://redd.it/14ce2b1 regarding future of that subreddit) have been contacted to let them know of this.
Personally this feels like a gross way to frame looking at people who look as though underaged. I appreciate the age verification, but it still feels as though it’s sexualizing the idea of “these people look like they’re not legal”
everyone is entitled to their opinion. and “gross” is subjective (I find feet “gross”, other people like feet). Personally, I think consenting adults (which these models are) should be able to do whatever the hell they want. Our society has this gross obsession with treating adults like we are children, when we are not (perhaps I’m biased because I’m an autistic adult, and those of us that are autistic are especially treated like children by society–it’s insulting to say the least).
Also, I volunteer for a child protection organization (link), and quite honestly I believe that if someone that is attracted to minors “gets off” to adults that look young (which I think might be what you are implying), that’s actually a good thing, because adults can actually consent, and the adults that are involved in adult content, in particular, consent to the erotic nature of that content. I would much prefer that they look at pics or vids of consenting adults, instead of looking at children.
Thanks for your perspective.
And for letting me know about LemmyNSFW via your messages to mod teams at Reddit.
Hi, your opinion is appreciated, though I obviously would disagree with the “gross way” part.
The faux part is indeed intentional. To me, if the model and photographer succeeds in conveying a particular “vibe” via some pose or selective imagery to the viewer, then they’ve succeeded in the art of erotica…
