      Oh that’s right…

Giving a genocidal government the bombs and planes violates the Lehay law…

So we give them billions of dollars first.

Then “sell” them military equipment, funneling billions of our tax dollars to private defense companies.

Meanwhile a bunch of shitty people make a bunch of money, and brown people die in the worst abuse of human rights since WW2.

I’m not sure how much has been given to Israel in total the last few years but I think it was about 3.8Bn in 2020 and a package of 14.1Bn in February divided as follows:

About $14.1 billion in the bill would go to support Israel and U.S. military operations in the region. About $4 billion would go to boost Israel’s air defenses, with another $1.2 billion for Iron Beam, a laser weapons system designed to intercept and destroy missiles. There’s also about $2.5 billion to support U.S. military operations in the region.

Listen, Israel is trying to commit genocide and Biden is an incompetent old piece of shit because of how he has handled this, but that’s no reason to claim we directly gave them 18Bn in money when we didn’t, it just makes us look stupid. Factual correctness is important if we want to stand a chance in debates.
