me and my storyteller are fighting over the same braincell. He wants me to run a mage game so he can make a specific mage and i want to retire my witch when we get to a point i can convince him to give more freebie points to make almost the exact same mage.
Mage the ascension is one of the best ttrpg I’ve played.
I friggin’ love Mage the Ascension. NWoD Mage is just nowhere close.
As much as I’d love to play it again I’m kinda crud at running it.
I got a friend who likes awakening more and i literally cannot understand why. Ascension is just so much better on every level, the magic system itself is unbelievably better just for acknowledging the rest of the character sheet exists.
Ascension makes me feel like I know magic.
Awakening makes me feel like I know suffering.
