Which sounds like great news to old armored core fans.

Saw Vaati and Iron Pineapple’s videos about it. It seemed pretty much like AC2, but with better graphics and probably tighter controls (obviously I can’t feel the game from a video). Now I’m wondering what 3-5 are like. I only ever played 1 and 2. When they announced 6, it was the first I heard they even had more than those 2.
I’ve played most of the series from 1 - 3 and they’ve all been a great. I then got a little burnt out and didn’t play the next in the series.
Never played 4 or 5 but the 3rd series (3, Silent Line, Last Raven and I think Nexus) were excellent.
I’m pretty stoked about this one. The gameplay looks good but seeing the custom mech parts stats looks amazing. And I heard you can download other people’s builds. I’m so glad they didn’t dumb it down for a wider audience like a lot of games would have. That really is what makes an Armored Core game.
4: Answer is the most modern feeling of the series to me. Great missions too. I’m not disappointed that it will be slower though, as long as the controls are as responsive and intuitive as 4A then they will be the least of my concerns. From has been on a roll for over a decade now.
It’s been a while since I’ve felt this good about a game developer. In a time where there’s so many cash grabs and half-baked early access titles, it’s awesome to see FromSoft approaching development of these games as a craft.
