This is my problem. I bought some iron-on patches for the back of my Mario hat so I won’t be mistaken. It’s a different color red, but most people won’t pick up on that.
If more people knew about the fucked up shit the US did to countries south of their border, countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, their flag would be a symbol of terror, not hope and prosperity.

Not sure if Americans know this, but outside of US, like here in Canada, the US flag is now a sign that you support fascism…
And this has all changed dramatically in the last 8 years. We used to never see American flags, but now you see people flying them along side their other racist slogans and flags.
I’ll have you know, here in the US, people that are donning the American flag have been a sign of nationalistic fascism since at least the late 90s/early 2000s. At least no later than the inception of the Tea Party.
Honestly the Canadian flag isn’t too far off the same designation… at least here in dumbass alberta
It was the worst during the Olympics!!! Because it’s like are you trying to support our athletes? Or upset about public health measures? I HATED that it was the same symbol for both.
