“Very well, sir. I will send the documentation for your life unsurance and a copy of your will to xXUltr4k1ll0rsl4y0rXx@hotmail.com and to your wife at sweetiecutiepony@freenet.com”
I’m guessing life unsurance would just be euthanasia. Or would they pay you if you survived for longer than expected?
I was joking because you wrote “unsurance” instead of “insurance”
I now have a name@surname.net email, and I feel like a boss everytime I give it to someone
This is the way. It’s way more professional than a freemail account (Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc)
My last name ends in “us”, so I have my last name as my full domain (a .us top level). Pretty proud of myself for figuring that out. 😆
I also got myself a surname.me domain for this reason. Now I feel like a boss.
p.s. I’m also a bit scared if the .me domain could be called of by the country,. since it’s not a genericTLD, controlled by Montenegro.
same, I feel lucky to have such an uncommon surname because I easily got the domain lol. there was a short version with the last two letters as the TLD but that was already taken sadly
My last name is too common and shared by some large companies to get anywhere close to it as a domain name.
I got <surname>-net.com, which is still cool I guess.
Is your last name “Incorporated”?
Or “org”
me, recognizing this problem at 16, and spending literally like a week coming up with the perfect username
Do you feel like you succeeded?
had no complaints about it so far, it’s short and sweet and has a meaning.
write it on my gravestone please
It’s weird to ask me personally to write it on your gravestone but if you insist…
Your example is pretty amazing, I have seen your username everywhere, assuming it’s all the same person.
Meanwhile I have a different one per account. Not even trying to hide my identity, I just can’t decide. This is also why I don’t have tattoos.
Are you telling me that xxXProGamer360NoScopeXxx isn’t a good username?
How did you get my work email?
Goddamn this makes me feel old. When I was 12, N64/PlayStation 1 were the dominant systems
When I was 12, I had to write my own games in BASIC
Laughs in machine code
When I was 12, the NES was the dominant system.
I was on a conference call with this guy I work with an HR. We had to go on a work trip together and she was getting out contact info for the flight.
She wanted our personal emails due to work email limitations. I just give the first initial last name thing.
The guy I worked with paused for a moment and said…”Iliketurtles” haha I’m pretty sure he made an adult email after that.
I’ve been using the same email address for 21 years so far
I got first catch at gmail when it was brand new, a common nickname without any numbers?, never gonna let go of my username.
Mine’s 23 and has a silly name, but it is the key to basically everything by now.
Rotvomit reporting for duty!
I did create another one I use for grown up stuff but I still use a very old email that ends in ‘rulez’
me picking the username madbrony when I was 12 on an account I CAN’T CHANGE 😭
Pones
Sorry
PONES 😁👍
Oh, yeah da pones!
It was Anarchy9999@hotmail.com and I stopped using it about 20 years ago because I forgot the password.
I’m so glad I made it out of this situation with one I legitimately like
If only I could still access Optimus_Prime1024x768@msn.com
The_cool_one_1.
Fun fact, I was not cool
I’m just glad I started using the internet when my regular name was still available at the popular mail providers back then. Young folks now are pretty much forced to throw in their middle name, nickname, birth year or whatever…
