Yeah, 20+ years of drinking multiple cups every day. The “keeping you awake” part of coffee (or even energy drinks or cola) seem like a scam.

If by “triggers awake receptors” you mean blocks receptors associated with sleep induction, then yes. But you basically have the mechanism backwards.
