“Depressed and struggling with dating? You’re obviously a woman hating nutjob!”
This doesn’t have any hints of the “entitled to sex/a relationship”, “it’s other people’s fault I can’t make connections”, “my self-worth is entirely dependent on sex and dating” ideas that are central to inceldom. Being lonely and struggling to make connections isn’t the same as being an incel. Labeling people like that as incels is hurtful to them, and the only good that comes out of it is you get to feel good about shitting on them.
Being depressed and struggling with dating is part of the human experience. Despite popular belief, I too am a fellow human, therefore, I’ve experienced this as well.
I haven’t really accused anyone if being an incel, just that this comic contains some of* their talking points. Everyone appears pretty passionate about this, and that’s interesting, but I’m still not convinced those elements aren’t in here.
