In my profile settings I’ve got “Interface Language” set to “English”, but every time I comment I have to select a language, otherwise it won’t post the comment (and there is no feedback saying it’s the language that’s causing it not to post).

    How about if you set it to Browser Default? That’s what mine is set to, I never choose anything for Select Language, and my posts go through.

    If setting it to English in profile settings causes this problem, then I’d probably create an issue ticket on the lemmy-ui GitHub page.

    The lack of UI error feedback seems to be a general problem, I assume there’s already a dozen issue tickets for it.
