It is raining in every biome it can, and snowing in the biomes that are below a certain temperature. Switches at the biome boundary.

That’s just how Minecraft has always handled weather. Raining is on or off. It is raining in every biome it can, and snowing in the biomes that are below a certain temperature. Switches at the biome boundary.
