I’m so glad they’re ditching the curved display.

I hope Google manages to improve the battery life. My P4XL squeaks in with less than 10% at the end of most days.

Do they exist? I’ve seen posts from people saying they don’t mind curved screens, but someone who has used it for a while and prefers them to flat screens?

I don’t mind them at all when it comes to functionality. In fact, I find it easier to do the swipe to open sidebars and stuff.

However, screen protectors are super expensive and require UV glue to adhere them. They are such a pain in the ass to apply, and you think thrice about replacing them due to scratches because of how expensive they are.

Flat screen phones have a pack of 3 for $15, and they take 60 seconds to apply. When they get slightly scratched, it’s easy to spend $5 for a new one. Whereas the curved ones are $15+ each.

My 7 pro is rocking no screen protector because of how annoying and shitty it was for me to put them on my 6 pro.

Ugh. I hadn’t even considered screen protectors. That UV glue thing sounds like a pain.

            Bring on the flat screens!
