Hour long first episode and hour long finale, this show likes to go all out. I did not for one second believe anything would happen to Nezuko, but they made it very emotional regardless. And while they did not mention it, Tanjiro has now been an essential aspect of killing not one but two upper rank demons, surely that’s enough to get a promotion to Hashira? I feel like he’s earned it.

Fantastic closer to the season. The way they unravel the story and orchestrate it with the music and animation is really masterfully done. I’ve read the manga and they’ve translated everything not only faithfully but also beautifully. About to rewatch it again.

What a phenomenal episode!
You know, I wasn’t really that hyped during the season, some episodes kinda felt like filler or had a slow pace, but for this finale they really pulled out all the stops!
I love how badass Tanjiro is, damn. That demon really was a despicable being, even during his human life. Glad not every villain gets a “I used to be a good guy” backstory.

I don’t know how much more my heart can take, Nezuko, my god. Studio Unlimited Budget Works delivers again…

Great episode, amazing animation. I knew in my heart of hearts that nothing would happen to Nezuko (though I work in a bookstore that sells a lot of manga, so there’s also that.) I’m a sucker for the happy ending and I was surprised at how freaked out I was by the Muzan scene
