I didn’t know this was a remake. Never heard of the original. I played Age of Empires 1 & 2. But not this.
How does it compare to AofE then? I might have to give it a try if it’s a simpler game, I don’t have time for complexity now a days.

I’m not bothered. No chance I’ll actually play these games. Just as long as these sorts of crossovers stay in games and don’t cross to other media then it’s fine.
Really enjoying the tone that SNW has really made it’s own. I can’t wait for this next season.
Also this can’t be last season of Lower Decks it’s so good, fingers crossed for some sort of spin off. Don’t want this to be the end of this animated universe.
If it was a cross over in a show that would be bad, but a mobile game, not a problem. Should be fun.
Would be happy to have some Star Trek characters come to Fortnite alongside Marvel characters for example. In a fun game, it’s not a big deal.
Big fan of Star Blazers. I did eventually watch that years later, but my first anime exposure was via a VHS bought from a charity shop of a series called ThunderSub.
Very similar to Star Blazers, don’t know if they were related in any way.
Oh I get it. The top picture is a bike. 🚲 The bottom picture is the same bike after being hit by a 6ft tall SUV while trying to cross that intersection.
That’s amazing. Big fan of the original TT and then years later OTTD as well. But after so many years to still have it actively being developed is really so impressive. I’ll have to check it out again.
Exactly, I was the same. This is the News that Twitter was good for, the live events.
I’d always check Twitter for the initial on the scene explanation of what was happening from local people. In my case it was a massive warehouse fire that I could see the smoke in the distance. Obviously there was nothing about it on the traditional news sites, but loads of stuff from local people on Twitter immediately.
Then afterwards you’d just read the proper News outlets for the full official details after the fact.
If you want to really know how much try this. https://thebigplasticcount.com/
Tracking what you use will go towards data that can be used to pressure companies and government to try to change their ways.
This really grinds my gears!
One of the things they do that really drives me nuts is when they dig up a junction with road markings, when they tarmac over the bit they dug up they then repaint the white lines, but ONLY on the tiny strip they dug up, leaving the rest of the old faded lines with just one patch of bright white paint on it. Looks ridiculous. Seriously they can’t repaint the entire line!?
All Social Media = Plastic and Fake.
Great, Mastodon is really starting to be able to replace much more of Twitter now. The only thing i miss from Twitter was the local accounts I followed for info, will be a while before they all abandon and move over, but hopefully in the end.
I had to stop playing long single player games because of time constraints. Having a full time job and family means little.time remains for free time and that free time is not consistent. So if I do try to start a big new game the next time I find time to go back to it I will have forgotten where the story was, what the controls were and very quickly give up on it and go back to quick pick up and play games.
This is great. It’s so good to have this game maintained by the community. I played this game so much as a kid and have returned to it many times since. I think I’m due another go! 😈
Glad it’s getting overwhelmingly positive reviews, it’s been so long since we’ve had a good 2D Mario game.
Yeah in most places I’ve shopped they don’t even have staff covering the self checkouts so they obviously don’t care that much.
Glad it got picked up. I thought it would be Amazon Prime most likely to get it as they’d already invested in Picard. But I’m fine with Netflix. I’m due to get back round to Netflix after Christmas on my subscription rotation plan so hopefully I can binge watch both seasons of Prodigy by then.
It makes sense. It may suprise a lot of people on here but their biggest market is not the people who demand 4k 60FPS in all games and will riot if they don’t get it. Their main market is kids playing FIFA and Minecraft and other casual gamers who just enjoy fun games at a reasonable budget. For that they really got it right with the Series S.
The quality of Lego helps, you shouldn’t ever really need to be throwing them away. The problem I do have with them is the excessive use of single use plastic in their packaging. So many plastic bags in all their sets. I’m sure they said they were sorting that out but I’m still getting packages full of plastic bags! It can’t be that difficult to sort that out and repalce those with some cardboard boxes or paper bags!
The music is one of the best things about this series. It’s full of addictive little dittys throughout the game.
Anyone here watched the animated film. It was one of the very few decent game adaptations. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1488591/
