So you have to know what’s good or bad from the get go before using it and trusting it yet.

If the html file is on the users device and they overwrite it, via an ad blocker, that is in their rights as the property owner of the machine.

Seems like sites need to get creative in new ways to force ads, which I’m sure will be a different kind of intrusive, instead of trying to push their ownership into the space of the users systems.

In the dnc we have delegates with 1 vote for their nominee. If the delegates vote for 1 dem and another gets the 2nd amount of votes, then they’d be Pres and VP nominees for the dnc. Or actually do ranked choice for dnc nominees to get voter ranking of nominees.

How is it better for a presidential nominee to pick who they want vs listening to the peoples actual preferences.

I get why it was changed for VP for the dem vs Republican nominee. But why wouldn’t we want, as a party, better representation on who we voted for.

Maybe it’s the time to go back to how things were when the US was founded. We have a vote and top two are President and VP nominees. Keeps the party aligned to what we actually care about and who we think is best, vs who the nominee or party thinks might be best.

As a base argument for theism, yes. Believing in a good Tennant of morals and having a community to back you up and keep you on that moral set of rules is a good idea.

Over thousands of years, we have seen that this can be corrupted and skewed towards individuals points of “morality”. Having your effects on culture and humanity overall.

I think there are benefits to religion, but so many negatives over the course of it’s lifespan to accept it is good for us.

I believe there is an initiative by some big banks to push for wire transfers to be done via a blockchain as opposed to slow ach transfers.

They call it quantum computing or something like that… but seemed like it had potential to solve some issues with slow banking

I have actually dealt with a partial deaf blind student back in elementary school.

You can sign ASL into their hand so they can feel what you’re signing(normally individual letters). Or they hold your hands to feel the gesture/sign you’re are making.

They read braille as a just a blind person would.

But over all takes more effort to learn this way.
