Because I consider carceral or capital punishment appropriate for crimes resulting in death? Sorry dronie, corporations include fines in their annual budget that does nothing to change their practices.

another loss for the market place of ideas 😓
Yes, executing a businesses person that chooses to kill children to make more money is the objectively correct outcome. Or would you rather they just get a miniscule fine, tell me how much is a baby worth?
aw the poor little dronie just had his world view questioned, i get paid by the post and you just get riled.
Provide proof of your claims, I notice you are .it maybe you should be more concerned with Italian botulism than Chinese food safety.

The United States and U.K are developed countries just as Japan, China, and India. Why is my comparison inaccurate? Facts don’t care about your feelings.
Disgusting under reaction to a racist joke
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/nov/24/china-executes-milk-scandal-pair
China executed a dairy farmer and a milk salesman today for their role in a tainted infant formula scandal in which at least six children died and 300,000 were made ill, state media said.
Nineteen others have been jailed since January in connection with the case, which involved deliberately contaminating milk with melamine, a chemical used in manufacturing plastics and fertilisers. It resulted in product recalls around the world and caused outrage in China, particularly when details of a cover-up emerged.

On February 15, 2023, Business Insider reported that Similac’s manufacturer, Abbott, could face criminal penalties of up to $500,000 for each offense as the Department of Justice probes the factory conditions that led to a nationwide baby food shortage.
Nice try racist, bet you didn’t even know that this happens regularly in the west.
CDC estimates 48 million people get sick, 128,000 are hospitalized, and 3,000 die from foodborne diseases each year in the United States. CDC provides estimates for two major groups of foodborne illnesses – known pathogens and unspecified agents.
We estimate that there are 180 deaths per year in the UK (95% CrI 113 to 359) caused by foodborne disease based on these 11 pathogens. While this is a small fraction of the estimated 2.4 million cases of foodborne illness per year it still illustrates the potential severity of these illnesses demonstrating the importance in continuing efforts to reduce these infections.

Compared to China:
From 2002 to 2017, China reported 2815 outbreaks caused by foodborne diseases related to meat and meat products, resulting in 52,122 illnesses and 25,361 hospitalizations, and 96 deaths.

That is fine I don’t have time to chase moving goalposts
“The Second Intermediate People’s Court of Tianjin ruled in January that death was justified because Lai took “especially enormous” bribes to make investments, offer construction contracts, help with promotions and provide other favors.”
In the western world this corruption gets a nominal “fine” that they have a section for when creating their corporate budgets
Please provide any actual evidence of so called “henchmen” I’ll wait …
I’m not here to entertain, just provide mild pushback against propaganda. Please explain how moral authority is relevant here? We are talking about material reality not ideology.
Never once did I claim that the Russian economy would overtake the United states simply that the 2023 growth projections were higher for Russia than the United States. I will say you are correct regarding the size and cumulative natures of GDP growth, but add the caveat that this Russian economy growth is in spite of sanctions and removal from the SWIFT banking system.
I’ll quote my original post:
Russia is not on the verge of collapse, the IMF predicted that Russian GDP would rebound slightly in 2023 to 0.3 percent growth, and in 2024, the Russian economy is predicted to grow by 2.1 percent.
https://www.newsweek.com/russias-economy-forecast-outperform-us-within-two-years-1777788
That’s higher than the IMF’s projection for the United States, which it said would see only 1 percent GDP growth that year, and down from a predicted 1.4 percent in 2023, and the 2 percent the U.S. enjoyed in 2022.
I’ll again ask for any support to your claim that Russia will collapse politically
MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. The proportion of Russian citizens’ confidence in President Vladimir Putin amounted to over 80%, according to the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center that published the results of a survey conducted between April 10 and 16 among 1,600 respondents aged over 18.
“When asked about trust in Putin, 80.1% of respondents answered positively (+0.4% over the week), the approval rate of the Russian president’s work was up by 0.4% and stood at 77.5%,” the pollster noted.

I acknowledge the bias with tass
"Prigozhin has insisted that Putin wasn’t the target of his mutiny. Rather, he wanted to depose the leadership of the Russian defense ministry, with whom he’d been feuding. But Putin came out against Prigozhin’s armed march. And after a daylong revolt, Prigozhin backed down and agreed to go into exile in Belarus to avoid treason charges against him and his Wagner Group mercenary forces.
Pomeranz noted that, aside from exiled or jailed opposition leaders, there are no serious figures openly styling themselves as alternatives to Putin in Russia right now." https://www.politico.com/news/2023/06/30/vladimir-putin-ousted-wagner-group-00104272
Putin’s ability to secure the support of regional governors and heads of states within the Russian Federation during the PMC Wagner rebellion highlighted his enduring influence in the political realms. This crisis served as a testament to the unity and support that Putin commands from key figures in Russia.
In the broader post-Soviet context, Putin’s phone conversations with the presidents of Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Turkey provided him with a clear understanding of who stood by his side during this tumultuous period.

Then why even make your initial comment? You are trying to silence someone who is speaking out against racism, you are enabling racism and thus are one as well. You could’ve easily blocked me and moved on but instead chose to carry water for a bigot, I would rather be a principled “idiot” than a coward defending racist “jokes”
