The only app I’m aware of for Kbin is Artemis but it hasn’t been released yet. Supposed to be heavily inspired by Apollo.

I’m pretty sure my first android phone was the Droid and it had a physical keyboard underneath the screen, which slid out to reveal the keyboard. Since on-screen keyboard was also an option, the only time I used the physical keyboard was when I remembered it was an option that I never used.

That may have been different if keyboard shortcuts worked on it. (I don’t know if they did or not, but if they did I didn’t know about it back then)

Tap the blue globe icon at the top right and make sure “All” is selected.

Steve Huffman thought his bank account should be like Zuck and Musk’s because he also ran a social media site. Took advice from Musk, who just wasted 44 billion dollars and had ZERO experience with social media, then turned Reddit into an actual pile of garbage just like that.

As a former Apollo user, I’m really going to miss not having to remember all the different ways to format.

Saw someone complaining about the protest in a thread where the top mod was offering up the sub to whoever wanted it. I suggested they (person complaining) go ahead and step up and ask to be a mod. They replied something like, “I don’t wanna be an E-jannie…[blah blah].”

These people assume that there’s plenty of other people who will step-up and take over. We’ll see I guess.

I’ve used both RIF (10-15 years ago) and Apollo (last 8 years or so). They are and were light years ahead of the official app. At this point I’m just like, “OK, bye bitch” with Reddit.

I’m a little hesitant to put on my tinfoil hat here.

Third party apps made Reddit what it is today. They used to not even have an official app and having mobile access made it more popular.
