Is that you… Windows 95?
Is that you… Windows 95?
I use it for my servers and for remotely programming for over a decade. Using it on a desktop setup for work or games? Fuck no!
It’s my criticism of the Linux community: They don’t understand what “being productive” really means. I need to do work during the day, and produce results. I don’t have time to deal with my docking station not working, monitors settings breaking, and tinker with them every day… not because I can’t, but because I SHOULDN’T NEED TO.
It was cool when I was a teenager… now I need to make money.
As frustrating as it sounds. On windows and mac, literally plug and play. Every time I get the exact same setup. On Linux… dear Lord… every day a different problem and a different tinker until I swore that I’m done, and went back to remote use of Linux. Linux terminal is perfect, and that’s probably all I’ll need. Linux desktop through VNC, if ever.
I read this as “X is the platform that shares all the information that doesn’t follow our authoritarian agendas”.
Good. That means X is serving its purpose: informing people of all available opinions in a crazy, leftist, authoritarian world that’s indicting speech.
No one owns a monopoly on the truth.
Things don’t usually develop in the rational way you’re thinking of. Multiple times we almost went into nuclear war for much less.

My propaganda? You saying “no red lines” is precisely what a propagandist would say, giving absolutes and not considering trade-offs.
At this point I’m not surprised that dumb people don’t see through such bullshit. People are dumb, simply put.
Let’s all wish that Putin is dumb enough not to see this as interference so that WW3 doesn’t happens.
Don’t worry about the algorithm questions… companies asking that are just google-wannabe companies that don’t deserve you. I have always told recruiters “if there’s a time-limited interview test, I’m out”, and I’m doing very well for myself now.
If you’re desperate, unfortunately, you have to pick up a book on algorithms… one of those 600 pages book, and start reading…
Case in point… Doom is not invented, it’s discovered!
If this is true, they’re really screwed. No one is gonna use the new versions.
