I remember a time when these features were just “standard” and car makers ad campaigns all around features just being standard, making the car more enticing than their competitors.
Now I dread the idea of getting a vehicle in the future because of bull shit like this.
But fuck the consumer amirite?

9·10 months agoI completely forgot they did this until I was trying to set a reminder for when I got home and it kept telling me “I’m sorry I didn’t understand” after every attempt. It’s not like they couldn’t implement that into Tasks.
2·10 months agoI’ve got a base PS4 and started playing God of War (2018) over the holidays. The wife and I love it so far. She’s really into Greek and Norse mythology so she’s really invested in the story and is sitting with me while I play it. We’re already excited to pick up Ragnarok next.
I’m so glad I read this because I was going crazy wondering why my Pixel 7a wasn’t getting the update despite constantly checking manually. Guess I’ll just keep waiting.
1·1 year agoNot a programmer either but this is the only setup I can do in my studio at home. At work however it’s a 4 screen setup as Chaotic Good.

2·1 year agoThis absolutely has happened to me in the past. I ended up just letting them take the first few “bites” and then I would just destroy the rest in a few actual bites. You’re right though, it is their fault after all!

1611·1 year agoImmediately bought Ultra. Monthly basis and thankfully set it up with my Google Play balance. So glad I use Google Rewards to help out!
Feels like reuniting with an old friend!
Downloaded, setup the accounts and got it up and running in minutes. Feels good to be back on Sync!!
Y’know you’re likely correct and that’s totally my bad. I got confused about the remote start from the key fob. I can understand the remote start from the app being a paid thing for sure, like OnStar or specifically in my case the myChevrolet app.
