Just like the last time it’s Salwan Momika, a refugee from Iraq who is burning the Korans.

Where are the Nazis here?
Vestager departures.
Is she leaving? I haven’t seen that anywhere.
Yes 45K is the global Top 1%. But in the quoted parts they are talking about the global 1% and frame them as “ultra-rich”. Not just the EUs Top 1%.
The richest 1% of the planet own nearly half of all wealth. These same ultra-rich emit more CO2 than the poorest half of the planet.
the richest 1% of the world’s population
If you earn 45000€ a year, which in many countries is just a bit above average, then you are richer than 99% of people in the entire world.
In reality, however, inequalities have persistently grown, to the point where today the richest 1% of the world’s population own almost half of the global wealth and that same 1% also emit more CO2 than the poorest half of the planet.
Dumb argument for a tax in the EU.
If you earn 45000€ or more per year (post-tax) you are in the 1%. (According to this)
That sure is a nice wage, but it’s definitely not rich and employees with a degree are not the people we should be taxing even more.
Also this:
The richest 1% of the planet own nearly half of all wealth. These same ultra-rich emit more CO2 than the poorest half of the planet.
So 45000€ is ultra-rich?
Why does it look so blurry?
Opening the Library is slower and the interface feels less responsive - sometimes even laggy.
Maximizing doesn’t work as usual. The top right icon doesn’t change. The window border is still visible and the bottom right zoom corner is still there.
I hate it - as always.
The total European population is growing by about 0.1% per year. and is expected to start falling soon.
For Germany the muslim population is expected to reach 11% in 2050 if zero new refugees arrive starting in 2017
Or 20% if 2014-2016 levels of immigration are kept. So in reality it’s probably somewhere inbetween.
Islam is not just growing compared to the rapidly declining christianity, but also in total.
Recent studies in Germany show that the average Muslim is even more anti-semitic than far-right voters.

But yes, there haven’t really been any attempts to get involved politically yet.
There the far-right definitely is far more dangerous.
But it surely is a topic we shouldn’t ignore.
