Ubuntu, it just works. Hardly notice any genuine issues with Snaps as well, but I also rarely use them.

Do people really have this much gripe with the Snaps? I don’t even touch them and am only reminded they exist when people complain about them. Is there any actual downside to just ignoring installing Snaps and instead installing packages manually anyways?
I still have to get into this game. Played like the first few hours and just never came back to it, but always hear great things about it.
Data caps are literally a scam. Most ISPs throttle your speeds anyways so your never reaching their “gigabyte speeds”, but also throw in a data cap to get extra money out of you. It’s not like their going to run out of bandwidth or anything…
