13·5 days agoIn their repo, under “Limine’s Design Philosophy” -> “Why not support filesystem X or feature Y? (eg: LUKS, LVM)”:
The idea with Limine is to remove the responsibility of parsing filesystems and formats, aside from the bare minimum necessities (eg: FAT*, ISO9660), from the bootloader itself. It is a needless duplication of efforts to have bootloaders support all possible filesystems and formats, and it leads to massive, bloated bootloaders as a result (eg: GRUB2). What is needed is to simply make sure the bootloader is capable of reading its own files, configuration, and be able to load kernel/module files from disk. The kernel should be responsible for parsing everything else as it sees fit.

Watch this happen, as in: they wouldn’t have “managed” Gaza themselves, but helped Israel or something like the PA control it. Even if I actually claimed that, you are telling me you didn’t know the US was helping Israel when Biden was in office?

61·27 days agoThe DEs practically everyone is using - minus Cinnamon, for now - have great Wayland support and have Wayland as the default session. Other smaller DEs and WMs have it on their roadmap.

The PA thinks that whatever Israel will leave them when they’re done stealing land will be more than what they’ll get fighting against the worldwide conspiracy. They actually believe that if all groups in Palestine had agreed to one of the past agreements and it went smoothly, they’d have proper borders and live relatively peacefully neighboring Israel, even with everything going on with countries Israel considers established, sovereign countries.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of them think what they’re doing is right, noble, and in the best interest of the whiny ungrateful fighters.

4·1 month agoHaruna … Additionally, the default actions for left and right mouse buttons have changed: left click is now Play/Pause and right click opens the context menu.
Just needs reasonable loop options and it will be great.

Right click for play/pause, and left click does absolutely nothing. Don’t know who though of that.

9·1 month agoIf he was planning on making another open world blocky game like Minecraft, it would have failed, no question. Minecraft is not only an open world game, but a modable one with a huge community. Everything Notch might have been thinking about adding/removing/tweaking about Minecraft would have already been done by some mod.
It would have been pointless.
Rule lawyering doesn’t really take you that far regarding this issue because wigs are explicitly forbidden and hair extensions that try to imitate actual hair are forbidden, and the people using them are cursed. The hair extension rule, according to most interpretations applies to all kinds of materials that are attached to the hair and look like it, so maybe you can just not attach it to your hair directly, but I can’t see how that might help.
Most interpretations forbid dying it black specifically. It’s recommended that white hair be dyed with henna, which is orange.

That’s a very big claim. It’d take more than just a dictatorship to be worse than Ba’thist rule.
There’s already an Egyptian and a Moroccan Wikipedia version. The Qalb language uses the Lebanese dialect. Don’t give them ideas, the threat is real.
