Btw, idk if it was on purpose but if you want people to be able to view the image directly in the app then you can just paste the direct link (https://cdn.spacetelescope.org/archives/images/screen/potw2325a.jpg) of the image to the URL section of the post.

I’m asking for the opposite, if your instance allows you to downvote stuff then can you downvote stuff that’s on instances that don’t allow them?

Can a person outside of instance with disabled downvotes downvote stuff on that instance?

I understand that instance may disable downvoting to create a “safe” space on it but I don’t understand why it would limit you from downvoting on instances that DO allow you to downvote stuff.

Huh? I thought that it only applies to posts on your instance and not all the interactions that users of this instance can do. Am I wrong?
