4 year. I have the skills necessary to do the job, but my portfolio is lacking. I’m working on a game in my free time, but all last year I applied to game studios and had when they all rejected or ghosted me, I ran out of money.

I’m not offended, just curious if it was a typo, or shorthand. Generally LGBT+ or LGBTQIA+ are acceptable, but leaving the A off can appear like a deliberate jab at Asexuals.
I would say: write down your task before you are pulled aside. Do this each time you are pulled aside, then work through tasks in reverse order.

That’s a cool take on it. I feel like I just haven’t found a solid hobby that’s fun to me. I’ve tried several, the only things that have partially stuck are video games, programming, and DND, but they still feel like a chore to keep learning.
