You mention how great of a game it is, the DLC is almost twice as expansive as the base game, and you get thousands of hours out of both, with the highest rated reviews on steam. Yeah, the developers are definitely the ones out of touch here

Hopefully their transition to unreal engine 5 gets away with a lot of their launch issues I genuinely love all of their games but their release dates being “game launch +1-2 years” hurts me.

Sorry my other comment was mostly unrelated so I deleted it. In this specific case, him being a WW2 Veteran actually matters the most. The only reason he walked across that stage is because he mentioned over coffee that he never got his special day to graduate officially because he was drafted before graduation. So they honored him by having him walk as a graduate to receive his diploma.
